Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the third oldest daughter. She was the child of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8] and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), who were both real estate agents. Her grandfather was a Greek who immigrated from Greece in 1904 and her mother was of Irish heritage. She got wed to her parents in 1976. Psaki has Polish roots. She graduated from Greenwich High School, 1996. In 2000, she received a College of William & Mary degree in English and Sociology. She is a Chi Omega sorority member. Psaki was an elite backstroke swimmer at William & Mary Tribe. Psaki began her professional career in 2001 by working for the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki was the communications director of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. representative, and the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki will serve as a political analyst during 2022's United States Presidential Elections. In 2023, she will host an online Peacock streaming program on MSNBC.
