Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello, born April 18, 1967 in America is an actress and producer as well as writer and director. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were just a few of her film roles. Bello was on TV as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) and also in other prominent roles like Michelle McBride (2016 season) and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born April 18, 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy, a school nurse and teacher and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. In the field of political science, Bello majored in political science at Villanova University. Bello studied acting in New York and continued to improve her skills after graduation. Bello has her son Jackson with her ex-boyfriend Dan McDermott. Bello wrote about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the labels we give ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28, 2015).
